LIVE LIFE!

I wrote the below poem when I recently received an e-mail about a friend whose husband was dying of cancer.  I love when my pen is completely inspired by the Holy Spirit.

"Our Good-byes"

Tears falling slowly
Quietly and constantly
I know it's Your purpose
Your plan Your timing
We mustn't hold tight
Or put up a fight
We must believe and hold
Steadfast to very promise
That our very last breath
Our final good-bye on earth
For Your chosen people
That last moment spent exhaling
Will be followed by that
Glorious first breath
That moment when we inhale
Will be in the presence Jesus
Our Lord, Our King, Our Savior

*I have learned many, many life lessons. I think the two biggest ones yet are the fact that this life is not "solely" about me, and another is to LIVE! Live life people.

Dare to step outside your comfort zone and the monotony of your lives. Stop being afraid to love, to take risk, to give and not receive, to be kind in spite of ... and for goodness sake ... Lets FORGIVE one another! Give yourself permission to FLY high and soar to the SKY.  Dare to DREAM!

He has designated an abundance of gifts with your name written all over them. YOU just have to open up your heart to "receive" Him. And trust me friends, the blessings will be too numerous to count. My life is living proof!

I am first, sorry to hear about your friend's husband and my prayers are with your family.

Second, beautiful poem; and I agree with you. That is why I live life and keep God with me at all times and only hope that I can be a contagious yet positive influence on others as others have been to me.

I enjoy your blog Free Spirit Butterfly and while I am on my own journey "The Wings of my Imagination" I am still fluttering along yours. Thank you for the invite.

Until...

Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you for your very kind words.
Thank you for stopping by...

I love those words...wings and imagination...
We truly sell ourselves short when we fail to use either...

And lastly, keeping The Almighty with you at all times means that your journey is not only predestined...but His favor and grace will delight side by side as you flutter and discover...with Him, we simply cannot go wrong!

Love, peace and lots of blessings

I am very moved by her beautiful words AND by your words, my Friend.

Never before in my existence, & not until my illness, have I thought so much about death, or considered life as I've known it coming to an end. The good news: No longer do I fear this reality... nor am I embracing (not yet!)... I just simply accept The Creator's will & meanwhile TRY to live each day on earth with a sense of Purpose.

Snatch JOY!

One.

GM Lin and thank you.
I changed the first part of the post because the HOLY Spirit penned those words...

I wholeheartedly agree with you...No longer do I fear it, nor do I embrace it (not yet)

As awful as our society has become...and I don't see any changes in the near future...I still see some good in people and I BELIEVE what the Father says...

He just and patient...He does not wish for ONE Single soul to perish.

I've read about your testimony from your past post(s) and YOU my friend have every reason to Snatch JOY!

I'm SO with you on that note!!!

Love and peace

You are more than welcome my friend,

I can't wait to read it. I know that He's going to have His way in your words and in your heart as He did with me...however, yours will be much more from personal experience.

Love and blessings...

A Lady's Life said...

So much pain in this world Butterfly We just had some people run over by a car walking on the street. We have yet to receive details as to what happened exactly
Running over three people is not exactly a normal thing to do and all part of the same family is even worse. My two kids and a friend were also almost run over by some half crazed drug addict or alcoholic. Seems they have more rights than anyone else and ask for more. So I am very vocal when it comes to drugs and drinking when driving. No one really needs stuff like this to be happy.

You're so right My Lady,
So much pain. I simply cannot imagine walking day to day with My Savior. He does not promise a pain free life, but He does promise to get me through it...and if my pain overwhelms me and overwhelms us...that's even more the reason to draw nearer to Him. His healing with either be here on earth or on the day of His

My prayers go up to The Father on behalf of those deeply affected by the recent car accident.

Love for a great weekend.

I am looking forward to your next book. As for mine, the author's copy came in the mail a few days ago...editing...ugh :-(
But Our God is faithful. The poem touched me deeply as he has since went to be with the Lord. REJOICE: Absent from the body is present with the Lord for those who believe. YAY!!!!! We BELIEVE :-)

Love you my faithful sister!
