Happy 46th Birthday to me!

This exhibit has been in my very own backyard for about 2 years. I work just around the corner from the Natural History Museum and did not know that the Butterflies were waiting on me to make an appearance.
Today, I met my very best friend in person. I-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e...
It's like blogging with you guys and hoping that one day soon, we'll meet face to face. Absolutely a joy. What an awesome birthday treat. It beats out ice cream and cake any day ;-)
PS - Patty from Alaska is the only blogger friend that I've had the pleasure of meeting and I still treasure that joyous occasion and that fabulous lunch that we shared at McDonald's ;-)
Love, peace and butterflies!

Happy Birthday. Wishing you many many more. I am sure it was enjoyed. You sound so excited in your post.

Nice images.

Dumb question: Is that a real butterfly perched on your hand?

You have lots of fabulous museums and history to see in DC - I bet you love it! Although if you're anything like me, sometimes you don't get out and see the stuff in your own backyard. I'm so glad too that we could meet in person. That was a fun day and nice break from sitting on an airplane!

I've been waiting for your return Miss Butterfly.

And, Happy Birthday.

But why did you have to show up in that "suggestive" top? I mean, the butterfly was nice, but I'd be lying if I said it was the center of my attention. I am not Internet flirting I'm just saying...

I'm saying dreams do come true *smile* and I like McDonalds too.

WOW - all these visitors. i feel like its another birthday all over again. so cool when you guys stop what you're doing and come sit w/me a while.

Myriam, I miss you.

Ms. Patty, I've been praying about your health and you're right; I don't take advantage of what the city has to offer and I'm planning to change that.

Don, I love how you're so faithful to my blog. It was real and intense for a moment. I've spent the last several years trying to capture one in a fluttering frenzy with my camera and as soon as I got the chance, I froze ;-)

Carey, what can I say? You are in deed one of the most unique and interesting creatures that I've met in the blogsphere & I love that about you...

Love, peace and hugs for a life filled w/joy and moments of bliss mixed in!
