Reminiscing

he would look at me with those eyes of his
the ones that spoke directly to my soul

he would reach for my hand as if it
were an extension of his own

the electricity would cause our skin cells
to burn immediately
but a pain worth enduring

the pulsating of our hearts would begin
to increase and the rhythm became poetic

we would begin to dance and when he
pulled me close it was as if i'd
transcended past all my lovers before him

quiet and stillness filled the air with
intense moments of heat that emanated
from our bodies

no words were spoken nor were they
necessary as the passion defined our thoughts

afraid to surrender to the desires of my
flesh i always wondered what could have been

Wow! Such Hotness
tempered by
fear, uncertainty or
good common sense
can sometimes manifest
into such
convincingly
seductive
poetry!

Well done!

Thank you My Lady :-)

last night in church, we talked about our gifts...

the Lord blessed me with many, but the gift of writing....putting any word into form is my heart's desire.

just me, my thoughts and my journal...that's my ultimate bliss...that and being in the presence of God :-)

love you sweet friend
