The Lord wants to carry your load.
Why won't you give it it him?
I think it's a combination of fear,
being in what you think is a comfort zone
and lastly, not surrounding yourself
with "like minded people." We all know
misery loves company. I don't know
about you, but I'd rather be in the
company of the Lord than a best friend
who doesn't have my best interest at heart!
Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall.
"Trust me, he's the reason why I'm
fluttering through life care free!"

Hi Ms. China-
I do give the Lord my load but I have a tendency to pick them back up again. In fact, my scripture memorization for March is Matthew 11:28-30 where He invites to 'call to me, all of you who are weary and burden'.
With all my heart, I want Him to take up the load, the baggage and everything else.
But I need to leave them up to Him and not continue to worry about them once I've entrusted them to Him.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend, girlfriend.
Much love to you
Myriam
Life is tough and I can't imagine going through it if I didn't know the Love of God and his sustaining power. Makes me pray even harder for those that don't know.
Love ya!
I keep telling myself to let go and let God move my life in the direction it should go, but there are times when my worrisome nature takes over. I'm still a work in progress, but i'm getting there.
That sounds like such a simple and loving promise, doesn't it? I remember how difficult it was for me to cast all my cares on Him while I was going through cancer treatment....I would repeat that promise over and over again! Part of human nature is to try to be in charge of our own life...and we do such a miserable job.

A Lot of us think that we can handle certain things and that we'll just give the "Big" things to God.
We'd all fare a lot better if we gave everything to God.
Happy Sunday to all and thanks for your personal comments and adding how the Lord is speaking through you. We are all in this together!
Hold tight and keep the faith, HIS reward will be worth it.
Love, peace and blessings for a Great Week!
Thanks so much. I am glad I won!! Hallelujah!!
Ps - I thank God for you and your post. It is much needed. Okay, now I am getting ready to send you my mailing address.
Stay Bless and Stay Strong!!
I think it's hard for some people to submit to the Almighty; they forget that only God knows what is truly best.
I think we all, at one point or several points in our lives, forget that in the end when our imperfect counterparts aka friends let us down, that God will always be there for us, but we have to seek him first.
