Mr. President, don't get it twisted

Where I work we are always fighting for a parking space. I doubled parked and ran into the office so that I could get in on time. A short time later, I ran out to move my car and you won't believe what I heard.

I was listening to WTOP and they were announcing that our President Elect will now become privileged and allowed to receive all the classified information in the morning briefs just as President Bush does. The radio talk show host then added that the President wants to remind the American people that he is still in charge until noon on January 20th.

First of all how arrogant and secondly that's exactly why we're in this mess now. Excuse me sir, but you are "not" in charge. Being the President is your job title and GOD is your employer! And with all do respect sir, if you believe that you are in charge, what exactly will you be in charge of when you step down on January 20, 2009, at 12:01?

Although, I am an avid Bush supporter, I agree with you "God is in control".

God bless!

Mr. Fitts, I'm sorry that your republican party lost, but they did give it a great fight. I just hope that Ms. Palin doesn't come back in 2012. Have a great day!

Ms. Dominique - Good morning and thanks for visiting.

Peace & Blessings!

I didn't vote for Obama, mainly because as a Christian I just couldn't justify in my heart of hearts his views on so many moral issues, abortion, marriage, homosexuality etc. But the Bible tells us to respect and honor those in leadership, that I will do. And I agree, yes, it is God who is in contol, not me or you or Obama but our Heavenly Father.

My prayer is that in this historic Presidency he will have discernment and Godly wisdom. He had a big job ahead of him and he will need our prayers for sure.
