Self discovery

If true love between a
man and a woman
is unconditional, then
I have yet to experience "that"

I'm not sure it's possible to love unconditionally. Don't we all have things we simply will not tolerate? Does unconditional mean your mate can do whatever they want and you will love them anyway?

Then again, as I think about it, i'll probably always love my husband even if he does something that causes us to break up. Does unconditional love mean you have to be together?

The more I think about this thing called (unconditional) love, the more I believe that it only exist between me and GOD. The rest of society, friends and family just get unlimited passes of forgiveness....

My religion teacher defined love this way. "In Spite Of"
There are some people I love, but I know longer answer there call. I don't want to take the chance that they haven't changed, they repeat a wrong, and I lose the love I've managed to keep. Do I sound crazy.......

SLC, crazy is the new "normal" (smile) even if you were crazy, you'd still be my friend. I like a diverse circle of intimacy (lol)

Same here, the only people I've ever loved unconditional are my young daughters and my deceased grandmother.

And I have experienced true love so I'm not sure you can have unconditional love with someone you're sleeping with.
