Love's deepest definition is found the in the simple but profound words, "God is love." Though we may not grasp the true depth of the phrase "God is love," we know that he is unchanging and sacrificial, and he desires for every person to know him. No human love can compare with God's love-it's a love like no other.
Questions to ponder or journal about in your own "private place and time."
1. When was the last time you spent time dwelling on the truth that "God is love?" Prayerfully do so now.
2. What are some examples or stories from your life that are evidence of God's love for you?
3. Emphasize the words in the phrase "God is love" in different ways to help you grasp the significance: God is love. God is love. God is love.
