My Tears

Father, I cry
I cry just sitting still
Reading Your word speaks to me
I cry
Sitting in my bed with my bible on my lap
Your word quietly whispers my name
I cry
Walking along the shore
Your word drowns out the liquid symphony
Across the sea
I cry
Singing praises to Your name
The Spirit continually stirs up my heart
I cry
Sound asleep in my dreams
Your word even follows me there
I cry
My tears are being stored by Your grace
You promised to collect them
I cry
Knowing that with You
My weeping is welcomed
Father, I cry

Tears have a way of healing the mind, body and the spirit, so let the tears flow......

A friend of mine wrote a poem for my upcoming book titled: Tears. It was short and profound.

I have a few friends who tease me...they said that they have a hard timing crying...

I simply cannot imagine not being able to shed a tear...

But then again, The Father fashioned us all so very different. I surely praise Him that I can cry.

Thanks Wynn.
Have a joy-filled day, editing and editing and editing some more.
*Hang in there friend, the reward is ALL His :-)

Hi sweet friend. Glad to hear I'm not the only cry baby. :-)

I was watching a movie today and burst into tears.

If only tears could burn calories, I would surpass my goal weight. Lol

Love ya lots!!!

I like, and I do agree that crying and tears create somewhat of a cleansing effect within a person's spirit. I don't cry as often as I once did, but if and when I do, it makes me feel so much better afterward.

@wynnsong Wholeheartedly agreed.

Cleansing indeed. Crying through my many storms helped to push out the hurt and to make room for forgiveness and new memories.

Enjoy your day and thanks for the visit.

This is good. Very honest... as you always are, China.

Crying is something that I don't do enough of, & thus, I've probably suffered (physically) because of this fact. But I do think there is an almost instant healing once a GOOD CRY is finally unleashed. That's been my personal experience.

One.

We've all suffered in one way or another, holding back our emotions. I for one am still learning to express myself through all circumstances and all seasos of life. I have to be my truest self to receive the healing and restoration necessary to becoming whole.

Love and peace,
China
