Praise report!

Good morning blog family.  WOW - Have I got some news for you.  I have been in the midst of some stuff and while waiting on God, I've been praying, meditating and journaling.  He does in deed hear our prayer requests, our pleas for help and deeply wants to give us our heart's desire when we submit to him.
I am one of those Americans whose house is going into foreclosure and before you feel sorry for me...wait.

I was working like a slave and trying to keep it together while having no real life and spending no quality time with my family and friends.  I've been working hard all my life and working and saving was my claim to fame.  Well now JESUS CHRIST is my claim to fame and my SAVING GRACE!
When Max died last August,  my doctor told me about Chesapeake Beach.  "Ocean City" was the love of my life.  "Where is this Chesapeake Beach?" I asked her.  That night, I Googled it and went the following morning.  The day was spent w/tears, raindrops, poetry, the presence of the Lord and the cutest yellow house at the end of the pier.  I said, "God can I please live there?"

This year I have been there at least 7 times and still ask God if I can live in the little yellow house.  Well guess what?  He said, "No, you cannot but you can live in the apartments down the street!"
Yes, I'm moving to the beach.  Not near it but ON IT! And the most amazing thing about it is the fact that I made a "life list" after writing a poem during April's National Poetry Month titled The Happy Minority.  It is a poem about doing all the things you want to do with "you" while you're single.  One of the things that I listed was to spend the summer on the beach.  I truly wrote it down because it sounded good.  I had no intentions of taking off work for a summer and being a beach bum.  But my oh my does the LORD have dreams bigger than our own!  For years now, I've been asking Him when I retire, if I could live on the water.  I had no IDEA that He'd give it to me now and right before my birthday.  Is that an awesome BIRTHDAY gift or what?

I will be getting off work every day for the next 365 days and driving home to the beach.  I will be surrounded by God, sunsets, fluffy clouds, the song birds and butterflies.  Oh, and the sweet sound of ocean waves.  Come what may, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! I bet Max is rolling around in heaven happy as a peach.
Well that's all for now.  Once I settle in, I will post some photos and continue to share my journey.  After saying all this, it is my deepest prayer that I will be able to witness to someone in my new neighborhood about Jesus, his grace and goodness and most of all his FORGIVENESS of sins and gift of SALVATION!

PS ~ A special thanks to Stacie, Frieda, my mom, David, Karen, Leslie, Dave, Dawn, Emmie and all the people who put this prayer on the list.

Here are some Psalms that helped me during my trials.
Psalm 66:16-20, Psalm 73:26, Psalm 37:4, Psalm 23, Jeremiah 29:11-13 and Lamentations 3:23-26!

I won't be posting for a while because I will be packing and stuff.  Be blessed and please e-mail if you are in need of a prayer request. It's 0917 hours and just before logging off, a yellow butterfly just fluttered by my window.  GOD IS NEAR, yes He is!

Oh Sweet Friend...
Praise God,he has shown you the right decision, and every day you can walk by the yellow house, and love your walks on the beach. What a beautiful journey you are about to embark upon. I can't wait to see what adventures await you.

I will expect many serene pictures. I can already feel the mist on my face, the sand between my toes, and the seagulls over head. Please pick up a shell or two and smile for me would you dear friend? I always said when I grow up I want to be a beach bum, where I could go to the beach every morning and walk in peace. A beautiful place to sit with God. What talks you two are going to have.

Hugs, hugs and more hugs sweetie. I am so over the top thrilled for you. Have a gorgeous weekend. Much love, Sherry

GM beautiful children of God. Thank you for your love and continued support of my blog and my life's journey. Blogging has helped me in ways I never knew. Opening yourself up to something new was always hard for me. Boy of boy am I glad I took that risk.

My blog family and friends have embraced me and has given me so many moments of inspiration and epiphanies... too many to name.

Most importantly, I feel like we will be connected throughout of live time and when we get the chance to meet one another it will feel like my favorite pjs - they don't match, but I wouldn't trade them for anything ;-)

Love and contined prayers for all the blessings your heart desires!
