This year I will....

Here we go again. By the Grace of God, we've been given another year to get "it" right or make a commitment to do at least one thing differently. Some people don't like to make resolutions and I'm one of them.

Yesterday I went to see Chery Martin of "Excellent Living" and it was very exciting. It was a conference on Jump Starting 2010! The room was filled with women all wanting to make a change! We wrote down three prayers that we want answered for the coming year and were invited back next year to tell the group if they were answered. Here are mine....

I am praying that this year I will complete my journey through the entire Bible. It's day 3 and I'm looking good (smile)

I am praying that the Lord will bring a loving partner into my parents life. They are divorced and currently single.

I am praying that my daughter will receive Christ as her Lord and Savior!

Thanks for visiting me and I'm praying great things for you this year. I'd also love to hear what you'd like to see happen in 2010!

Love and peace!

Happy new year Butterfly! I really pray that 2010 is a much better year than 2009 for everyone, even if 2009 was an amazing year.

My main concern now is the birth of a healthy grandchild. I also pray that I can finish my book and have it on shelves before the year is over.

I wish you a happy and blessed 2010.

A very Happy New Year to you Ms. China. I pray that God will answer all of your prayers as you begin this new year.

I, too, make the commitment to read the entire Bible in 2010 in chronological order. So far...so good. At the heart of it all, my heart's desire for a continued and consistent walk with God this year.

Love you dear one and may God bless you as you continue to seek His face.

HI Miss Butterfly,

I don't know if I should classify my concerns as a prayer or a wish? Well, I simply pray for God's guidance, and the courage to praise him in times of seemingly dire situations.

May the Lord hear you and give you the desires of your heart.

Blessings friend on the start of this new year!

A thought about the "getting it right" part.....I love this quote from one of my favorite authors (L.M. Montgomery)..."Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it." I like that quote and remember that a new start can come as soon as a new day does.

I pray that your prayers are answered. And for myself a new beginning, a new thirst for God's word, a new zest for becoming more Christ-like. And healing for many I know that are suffering.

Happy New Year FSB! I pray that 2010 is better than 2009 turned out to be. There were too many ups and downs last year for me.

I have been going through some difficult times lately and I appreciate all my blog friends who are always here for me.

I know one thing for sure. No matter how hard the road I will never loose faith. I will never give up on Him. My life has been so much better since finding Him a few years back. Even when things aren't going my way I still ask for His protection, care, and guidance many times everyday.

That isn't a bad idea, making a commitment to read the entire Bible in chonological order this coming year. I read the New Testament last year so why not shoot for reading the whole Bible in the coming year.

Happy New Year! I hope everything you want to happen for you and your family comes through this coming year.

Happy New Year to you Beautiful Butterfly! I know and I trust that 2010 will prove to be everything you desire it to be. I am claiming salvation for your daughter in Jesus Name. I believe your walk with the Father and your commitment and dedication to Him, will be the example she needs and will open the door for the Holy Spirit that flows through you to usher her into the Saviors arm.

2009 was indeed a challenging year for a lot of us but Glory be to God, it made US ALL stronger!

I pray for more of GOD and that my life and my walk continues to be an example to everyone that I come in contact with.

I pray that "e'Scents Creations by Stacye" reaches the masses and goes INTERNATIONAL!

I pray for more than ENOUGH financially and not enough room to contain it all...so that I will be forced to give it away to MANY, including all of you!

...and I pray that the salvation of this WORLD!

Peace and Abundant Blessings,
Stacye is Standing Able
