GOD blesses us

Deuteronomy 15:7 & 8
If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother. Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs.

Deuteronomy 15:10
Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

You have Christ shining through you loud and clear! Your new ministry sounds like a wonderful extension of your god-given talents. Do you travel all the way to AK for that service?

I know and hear this message loud and clear. I sometimes give and sometimes don't. It is really hard in these troubled economic times.

What is the hardest for me is there is someone on every corner when I go downtown. At almost every convenience store there they are asking for help.

My heart goes out to all of them. I am currently unemployed and sometimes wonder what I'm going to eat myself. I give when I can, but that isn't all that often considering if I give it will probably mean I will go without. It is hard to justify giving even to the needy if ti means I'm going to then turn into 'the needy' myself.

I know my situation is only temporary. I know that everything will eventually turn around for me. But I also realize that isn't going to be the case for some of these folks. Some of us out here are never going to have enough for one reason or another.

My heart goes out to all of them. And when I am able to, I will freely give what God has given me. I can feel it too, I feel good things coming in my life.

I will like nothing better than to give of what I have after my temporary misfortune has come to an end. Until then I pray for all those in need whenever I can.

Blessing friend! So glad to read more about what the Lord has laid on your heart to do and the dream he has giving you. What a needed ministry.
I pray the Lord will extend your tent pegs and open up your area of influence that will surprise you with the largeness of His goodness and provision.

Happy Monday everyone and thanks for your visit. It's a really busy week at work again. I have another POWER Point due on Friday ;-(

I'm certain, THIS too, shall pass!

If anyone sees or hears from Solomon, please ask him to send me an e-mail to aluv4poetry@yahoo.com

Love and prayers!

PS Patty, I would love to come to Alaska and help the seniors there and to sit and visit with you, your husband and extended family (pets) (lol)
By the time you teach me how to do water crafts and similar art, night would fall and I'd have to spend the night! (smile)

Love!
