I have to praise HIM, on this day especially

Today is day 13 for me. Because of my demanding and crazy work schedule, I had to work 13 days straight. I'm now patiently awaiting to attend my morning crime brief and then, with the Lord's Grace, I am headed home to have a love affair w/my mattress. I only pray that I can hear Max barking or feel his licking my hand to inform me that he needs to pee (smile)

Thank you Heavenly Father for my job, my health, my finances, my friendships, for my car starting, the company of Max, an most importantly, for carrying me and covering me. In your Heavenly name, AMEN!

Love and peace for a great weekend everyone.
As I like to say in the world of Law Enforcement,
It's F R I D A Y for me ! "smooches"

wow, 13 days straight, that's a load. In a job I used to do, sometimes I was required to work nonstop for over 3-4 days( 72-96 hours, meals but no going home). Some would say that against the law and simply rediculous. Well, it was not against the law. In fact it was the law. I worked in an emergency type job and we couldn't leave until the emergency was over.

Soooo, I can relate to the need for rest and a peace of mind. Now, if I wasn't thousands of miles from you I'd offer a back rub. Ooops, I almost forgot about that guy you've been holding hands with *lol*.

That's a long string of work days! I pray the Lord strings rest and good things onto these next few days. May you be refreshed in His presence.

Love ya,
Jen

I hope that you get your much needed rest. I (in my much younger days) used to work shifts like that when I cleaned fish in a fish processing plant. But no more. I don't think I could do it. I need my sleep and down time too much. More power to you!

Hi Denise! I am Debbie's sister (There's An Angel On My Frontporch). I went there this morning and saw that Christ had sent you to her. We just thank you Lord for this wonderful sister in Christ, Denise. We thank you for sending her Lord to help with the prayers we are going to need for Amy and her upcoming surgery. Denise you have your work cut out for you darlin, I hope you are up to the challenge, because it is going to be far worse than any crime scene you have ever seen. While you resting you be praying for our Dear Precious Amy, and Denise Debbie needs your prayers too, she is absolutely exhausted. This cancer run has lasted 14 months. Her first one started when Amy was only 10 years old. Amy is now 33. Please stop by and say hi. I would love to have you visit. I have signed up to follow your blog as well, I can't wait to read more about you. I would love for you to follow my blog as well. Country Hugs Honey and thanks for coming into our lives. Sherry
