Do not be afraid.....

Exodus 14:13&14
Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Although this scripture was written over two thousand years ago, this still applies to our daily lives. It may not fit your current circumstances, but it inevitably will. So remember; you need only to be still.

I am so thankful the Lord fights for us.

Read your prose - Yikes - I felt the realness of it and the sadness of such a trapped form of abuse.

I am also thankful the Lord fights for us. This is just what I needed to hear today.

Those are good words to live by. It reminds me of another verse, "Be still and know that I am God." I think we tend to forget to be still. It doesn't fit our busy schedules.

Good morning family Thanks for visiting. I love that Jen and Solomon both share the same gratefulness. Lori - I love that I have found a friend in Hawaii and PAK ART - Psalm 46:10 is one of my very favorites!

PS - Jen that story was true except that I quit before he had the chance to go all the way! Thank you for supporting my Poetry Blog!

Love and hugs everyone!
Enjoy your week!

Morning China!
Lovely post!
I guess we do have to dig in and wait it all out and hope God knows what he is doing. lol
Every year there seems to be less of Gods people and more Godless ones and as they say knowledge without divine knowledge is limited and quite dangerous.
Have a good one :)

Fear. Something I believe we all have to fight off at one time or another, if not every day...

The Word is so encouraging to remind us what to do with our anxieties.

Peace!
