Exodus 14:13&14Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
Although this scripture was written over two thousand years ago, this still applies to our daily lives. It may not fit your current circumstances, but it inevitably will. So remember; you need only to be still.

Read your prose - Yikes - I felt the realness of it and the sadness of such a trapped form of abuse.

Those are good words to live by. It reminds me of another verse, "Be still and know that I am God." I think we tend to forget to be still. It doesn't fit our busy schedules.
