Proverbs

Solomon "spoke three thousand proverbs" (1 Kings 4:32), many of which are collected in the Bible. These wise sayings describe patterns that operate in everyday life, offering us advice on how to conduct ourselves in various situations. Solomon's fundamental instruction is to fear and trust the Lord. As you read the book of Proverbs, remember that God has something to say about every aspect of your life; seek his wisdom in the decisions you must make each day!

I love Proverbs; it's got the big stuff like trusting and fearing the Lord, but also the little stuff like "a nagging wife is like dripping water" or something to that effect. I remember that whenever I feel a nag thought coming on. I don't want to be like water torture!
