I always dreamed of being a respected, productive woman with many responsibilities. But my imaginings shone the spotlight on a false picture of the calm, collected posed and poised, well-dressed version of myself. But in reality, Lord, the task and commitments involved in being a successful woman can become tedious. I grow weary.
When I am running on low, I run to the Most High. Lord refresh my spirit today. Infuse my body and soul with your limitless strength and might. Remind me to embrace the plan YOU have for my life and that I need to give you what is on my plate "everyday." Only then will my steps be strong enough to carry me on the right path!

Amen to that. Going to Him everyday for fresh bread is what we need. I often forget and wonder why I am weary.
Today I pray He'll fill you with the sustenance only He can give.
I echo "crochet lady". May His strength be your strength on today and everyday.
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatains 6:9
You shall have the desires of your heart...hold on my dear sister.

good afternoon ladies. Thanks for visiting today. I feel hugs from my blog buddies each time I see responses and comments. My job is draining and I can't keep up at times. Most organizations don't give you all the tools you need to get off to a fair start... I love helping people and I love being someone that me peers trust. But there are times when I need a quiet place to just be... I meditate and pray but the distractions are frequent and the demands are like a revolving door. I know it's partly because I need a vacation and partly because the Lord is pulling me in the opposite direction from the demands of the job.
Thank you Heavenly Father for continuing to sustain me and for my blog family.
Amen, Amen, Amen!
You said everything i'm feeling. I've have to take a few minutes and say a prayer at least five times a day while i'm at work. I'm not sure I would make it through the day if I didn't.
Sorry this is so late. I know your day was blessed. Your in my prayers post or no post.

Each time he said, "My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness."So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
I too struggle with the daily grind that pulls me down. I find myself giving in to human pettiness. Then I have to make myself see the bigger picture. These people (co-workers) are in my life so that they can see Christ through me. That's a tough role to fill. I have to let go of me and be Christ-like. God didn't put me here on earth to work in my office, he put me here to tell others about Him. The BIG picture is all-important.
Happy Wednesday, SLC, Tammy and PAK ART. This is the day the Lord has made and I am renewed and grateful. Hugs and love for a great day to everyone out there in blogsphere!
Hug someone today, it will make you both feel better! Here's a big one from me!
A hearty AMEN to that sister. True success is the one done God's way. As you rightly said, only by His strength and power can we accomplish His will. And it's a daily surrender to His leading.
God bless you.

"Be still and know that I am God. I will be exaltged among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord Almightly is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress" (Psalm 46:10&11). I love these verses...and I also know that I need to be "still" to hear God's voice and given Him the time to know that He is my God! I begin my day just as the sun rises, feed my goats and sit and watch the sun come up...it is my "still time" when I am in awe of the Lord's work around me. That is when I regain my strength to face what may come my way during the day. Being still in this day and age is difficult, isn't it?

Juri, thank you so much for Psalm 46:10. I highlighted that as one of my very favorites early last year and you're right. Although I come to work 1/2 hour early and thought I was using that time to pray and prepare for the day, I need to get up a little early at home and find "my still time."
Love to all!
