Waiting on GOD...

Women's Devotional NIV-
The children of Israel had been told to watch the cloud for guidance. But there were also times when the cloud indicated that they were to wait.

Sometimes we are kept waiting, too. We may be in the midst of heartaches, of problems, of trials, of temptations when we see the cloud stop and wait. Sometimes our waiting is for a short time. But we dare not move until HE moves us.

This picture was taken from a plane on my way to Las Vegas. How incredible and gorgeous is that?

Love, peace and blessings for a great day!
Heavenly father, I'm patiently waiting on you to best utilize me at work as I continue to pray for those that I work with and those that I work for. In Christ name, AMEN!

It's a hard thing to wait on God- been there many times. As I get older I thought it would come a little easier. It's still hard just a little more familiar.

Thanks for sharing your prayer. I need to remember to continue to pray for those I come in contact with across the library counter. There are so many hurting people out there trying to put dirty patches on their wounds. I see it in what people check out to read. There is only one clean and pure patch and his name is Jesus.

I'm sure you are a transparent person. One who is able to let others see Jesus in you. I pray that God would keep you and guide you and be your path in a hard place. Also, that He would give you glimpses of how your life is making a difference.

love ya!

Love you for the beautiful words. You've truly warmed my heart. Sending you a huge hug!

That's a beautiful picture. There's some things I have before the Lord. Now, I'm waiting. I'm telling you sometimes it gets hard in the midst of my waiting. I do have my ups and downs, but I'm ttrying to hard to maintain. Thanks so much for this post!!

Waiting patiently - they just don't seem to go together but in reality in my personal life - it's the best thing to go- wait for God. I have a couple of Bible teachers (really 3) that I am thankful for and one of them said 'personally - whatever comes naturally to her - it's best to do the opposite' and it's true in my life to.

I am at a point of making a major decision and it requires waiting for God to show which way to go. The 'Cloud' is not moving or so it seems so I can take matter into my own hands. After many hurtful lessons - I know better.

It's so nice of you to pray for people you work with an for.

Blessings and happy Valentine's Day!!!

I went through a very difficult time about 2 years ago with waiting on God. I had prayed, and prayed and prayed and NOTHING was happening. I wanted God to take care of my situation NOW! Isn't it amazing how we sometimes forget that HE is the creator of all and that He cares for me and that my answers aren't always His answers. The situation was resolved. But oh, did I have to wait. Lessons in patience are hard for me!

ps I looked at your other sites. Having a Christian in law enforcement can only be good! And love your cards - you know I like the creative stuff.

After suffering many years with cancer...waiting on the Lord wasn't an easy thing for me, as with others. I would never have another child...after losing my only one at 18 months. I was full of pain and suffering and I walked among others as a zombie.

It wasn't until I fully understood what God was telling me years ago...Luke 8:15 tells us (amp version) But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who hearing the Word, hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience.

Proverb 18:21 tells us that death and life are in the power of the tongue.

Our time will never be God's time and during our time as we wait on God we must learn to use that time and speak life into every situation and plant seed and water it with the word of God and watch it grow.

It's never easy...but God never said it would be! We will always be waiting on something and it's what you do while waiting that should stand out.

...and from a fellow officer, keep on praying and planting seed for those we work with and for.

Peace and Abundant Blessings,
Stacye
