During these difficult times, HE will provide...

Then the Lord said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions."

Exodus 16:4

I know that there are a lot of people around you and maybe even in your immediately family that have lost hope due to the economic crisis. I am not bragging and I am far from rich (financially speaking) but I know that as long as I read my bible and stay on the path that GOD has laid out for me, my blessings have increased. I have a huge mortgage payment and I do miss the two income family, but I put my trust in the Lord and he continues to provide a roof over my head, meals and warmth. Not only that, he left me with a German Shehperd that will surely share his food w/me if it came to that (smile)

Trust in the Lord and he will bring it to pass. But most importantly, if you are full or even have leftovers, Praise GOD and help just one other persor or family for that matter.

Love, peace and blessings for a great day!

Amen! This is a good source of encouragement to many!

I often say that while the world is in economic crisis the church (Body of Christ) must not have an identity crisis. We belong to Abba Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. Walk in HIM.

Psalm 27:13-14
Psalm 103:1-5

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving messages. I hope you'll return and be encouraged. I glanced around your blog and your law enforcement one. I appreciate your service to the country.

God bless you and I'll return. Give that big Shepherd a hug from me! I'm a huge dog lover. I have two male Maltese now.

I have several family members that have lost their job or go from temp. job to temp. trying to make ends meet. My husband's company continues to do well and we are very grateful.

I know we'll be there for family, but I really want to be looking for ways to lend a helping hand to someone else too. I pray that the Lord will help me to know how to do that.

Thanks for the words that help press us on towards love and good deeds.

Ms. LisaShaw, you can hug him in person, he's for sale (smile). At least that's what I keep telling him when he's being hard headed.

You are so welcome, I was window shopping and happended upon your blog. I will most certainly be back. I just love people who love the Lord and dog, lol

Love, peace and blessings.

This is soooooo timely. Thank you. I saw some situations today at lunch time that removed any complaints from my mouth. I ran into a former non Christian co-worker who's preparing to sell his house and move back to Louisiana since he's still looking for employment and stability after being laid off over a year ago. That helped me realize how blessed I am.
Because of your post I just ran through the scriptures that admonish us to trust in the Lord. Psalms 118:8 says It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. I feel like saying, "Oh you mean me too?" There's great peace in accepting that you can't do it all, but God's got you covered.

Thanks again for being so encouraging and in the words of a dear friend, "Love, peace and blessings"

Amen & Amen. He ALwAYS provides. I, too, worry about my mortgage payment but then I need to go back to early last year when I lost my job. I was out of work for 6 months. He gracefully provided - in unexplainable ways.

Thanks so much for the reminder that He's our Provider.

through google we can continue to support one another at just the precise moment. I continue everyday to ask the Lord to use me.

Thanks to all for visiting and I am thankful for the words that "HE" had me write in this post.

Amen!!
I dwell indeed in the richness of my father in heaven. The cost of living in Hawaii is high, and many are homeless living on the beaches and streets. I know many have lost hope and though I may not be able to help them all, I work in a place where we at least can offer them a hot meal or two each week, and special services, but most of all to give them hope in Jesus.
