A powerful question indeed...

I've started a personal journal that I call "My walk with the Lord" and yesterday's devotional asked me this: If you could have one page of the bible to sustain you for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I have to be honest and say that initially I thought, "that's not fair" it's too difficult to choose. But then my Christian voice said, "that's what's wrong with today's society, we have too many choices."

Anyway, considering that I haven't read the "entire" bible for now my choice would have to be "Romans 8 - Life through the Spirit."

JESUS!!!! That's what I was thinking when I read this post. Romans the 8th chapter is one of my favorite parts of the bible. My all time favorite verse is Romans 8:28 that will get me through anything....

That is a great start! I am currently teaching and preaching through the book of Romans. I can't wait to get to chapter 8. Great post!

I read this post yesterday and was surprised that I didn't have an immediate answer. For now, I'll take the page that contains Psalm 73.

I may be back this afternoon with 2 Corinthians 5.

Great post (as always).

Thank you Free Spirit and my new sister in Christ. I know just how you feel right now. We have a lot in common. For starters we know what it feels like to love the Lord. I pray that we continue to grow and praise God in the process. After reading your post I was so honored to hear that you loved mine. Amazing. I heard from 3 people!!! I feel like a big kid with a new toy. Just awesome. I must thank sister Shanita again for introducing me to the world of blogging. God's Blessings to you - PEACE
