Not your typical Friday the 13th
This past Friday, I was having a delightful egg and spinach sandwich on whole wheat. Not only was it pretty, it was delicious. I was enjoying the view...sunshine, waves, etc... And then I heard someone say in the background, "This day isn't going well. That's right. It's Friday the 13th." I turned and said, "If you say it's Friday the 13th, then that's what it will be. However, if you say it's a GREAT DAY, then that's what it will be." I for one, had a great day!
I took a nap on the beach and when I woke up, I wrote a poem. Day 13 of National Poetry month and I'm still inspired. How can I not be? I live on the beach and JESUS favors me!

I'm super tickled at the thought of you playing in the sand. So funny, yet free. I enjoy the drawing in the sand as well.
Truth - although we don't actually know how the day itself will go, it's just emotionally sound to claim a good day instead of one that speaks of doom.
Oh gosh!! I could use some hot sunshine!

My Lady, if you ever come to North Beach, I'd love to show you the town. It's so small, it'll only take about 15 minutes. Lol
But then, we can lay in the sun and have lots of girl talk :-)
