A love like no other

Love's deepest definition is found the in the simple but profound words, "God is love." Though we may not grasp the true depth of the phrase "God is love," we know that he is unchanging and sacrificial, and he desires for every person to know him. No human love can compare with God's love-it's a love like no other.

Questions to ponder or journal about in your own "private place and time."

1. When was the last time you spent time dwelling on the truth that "God is love?" Prayerfully do so now.

2. What are some examples or stories from your life that are evidence of God's love for you?

3. Emphasize the words in the phrase "God is love" in different ways to help you grasp the significance: God is love. God is love. God is love.

The was an excerpt from my Women's Devotional, NIV

This was a lesson that I learned the hard way which lead me to testify that from the worst pain, merged the biggest blessing ever; giving my life to Christ!

I have always felt that God loves me, it's apparent in everything about my life. I feel that I have been so blessed, yet when I look back I can see the hard things - life is not always a bowl of cherries, but in it all, I've known God has been there for me and always will be. I'm fortunate in that I've been raised to know God and never doubted Him. Not everyone has been given that great gift - I truly appreciate what I've had and continue to have.

You are so right about God’s love. For me, it’s beyond comprehension – no comparison to any other. Love in my world was so distorted that when I came across the words, shortly after my spiritual birth ‘I Love You’ in the book of Isaiah – I wept.

I knew of his love but still baffled that He could love me so much. A love like no other – set us apart from before the foundation of the world.

May we be forever grateful.

Have a blessed weekend!.

I know God loves me, but sometimes I still wonder why.

I have felt His love the greatest at the deepest, sharpest places. Through the impalement of pain, at the pit of a grave, and the drowning depths of depression, He has walked with me and been my shelter where nothing or no one else could stand.

I've also felt his love in shining strands of quiet where my breath seems to melt with His. And as waves of worship flow forth, how can I not know His extreme love for me.

God is so good to us!
Thanks for reminding us.

We will never be worthy of His AGAPE' LOVE, oh but I honour and praise Him for it. When I lost my son at 18 months I thought I would never love again or be loved but thanks be to God that He taught me to love again but engulfing my soul with His AGAPE' Love!

Thank you for giving us something to really ponder this weekend!

*And THANK YOU sis for your words of encouragement...BY HIS STRIPES SHE IS HEALED!

Love You,
Stacye

Happy Friday ladies, Thanks for your stories and sharing a part of yourselves with me.

Once I became saved and realized what GOD has done for me and you; the gift of HIS Son... I wept as well. Then I began to sit back and my quiet space throughout my home and praise HIM and cry and praise HIM. It just became a ritual for me. So many times I can think about my life and the pain I put myself through, the pain HE carried me through and the times when my life could have very well ended. HE sustained me and HE did that because HE has a purpose for me that has not yet been revealed. I patiently await his instructions.

Love for a beatiful spring day and weekend.

Happy first day of Spring to you too, and thanks for stopping by my blog today! I am so undeserving of God's love and yet He does love me! I am walking through a hard place in my life right now, but He gives me a peace with each step I take. I thank Him and praise Him for bringing me to where I am today. I am His child and because I know that, I can look forward to a better day. Thank you Jesus!
Have a wonderful weekend, Butterfly!

Blessings,
Sandi

Hey sis.
Sometimes I can get a little down on myself for no good reason at all. Remembering that God loves me, in spite of me has away of lifting any spiritual cloud that may be hovering over.

See ya soon.
