When was the last time you said this word? Why did you say it? Give some serious thought to it the next time you use it. Hopefully you won’t. To me it’s an ugly word and a wasted use of energy. There are a lot of things that I don’t like; cigarette smoke, spiders, thunderstorms, meetings, e-mails from my boss, etc. But I can honestly say that there isn’t anything that I HATE. Not even one single person walking this earth. There are however some people that are not a part of my intimate circle, but because God says to love your fellow brothers and sisters; that’s what I’ve chosen to do (from a distance) lol. Notice the word “chosen”. Everything in life is about making a choice and you can choose to use the word hate or you can choose to remove it from your vocabulary.

O Sailor, Come Ashore

(Part I)

O sailor, come ashore

What have you brought for me?

Red coral , white coral,

Coral from the sea.

(Part II)

I did not dig it from the ground ,

Nor pluck it from a tree;

Feeble insects made it

In the stormy sea.

I've hated myself for a LONG time. Knowing that I am much smarter yet I have made some feeble minded decision and allowed people to manipulate me. I don't hate myself anymore or the people who used me. Karma avenges us all and therefore I don't have to waste my energy on hating myself/others. Instead, I pray for more faith---cause that's obviously the problem---lack of faith.
